CFTR-Adenylyl Cyclase I Association Responsible for UTP Activation of CFTR in Well-Differentiated Primary Human Bronchial Cell Cultures

Abstract

We found that UTP-induced cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator activation is primarily mediated by cAMP signaling through activation of AC1 by calcium elevation, indicating major cross-talk between calcium and cAMP signaling pathway in human bronchial epithelial cells
