Construcción del territorio bonaerense en la Cuenca del Río Salado. Acordes y desacuerdos en la fundación del pueblo cabecera del partido bonaerense del vecino (1880-1900)

Abstract

Fundaciones urbanas, construcción territorial, trazados urbanos, Provincia de Buenos Aires, General Guido Desplazada la frontera militar hacia fines del siglo XIX, Buenos Aires se plantea la necesidad de fundar pueblos. Los situados en la cuenca del río Salado guardan una estrecha vinculación con la llegada del ferrocarril y suelen presentar una matriz regular de plaza central que no contempla las condiciones geofísicas. En el partido Del Vecino -Gral. Guido- la estructura urbana se adapta a un borde costero, trazado que responde a la acción del ingeniero geógrafo Carvalho y del agrimensor Moy, quienes actuaron además en otras ciudades con destino turístico. Este trabajo analiza y explica las condicionantes que determinaron por una lado la localización del pueblo cabecera y por otro las características del trazado urbano.Construction of the Buenos Aires territory in the basin of the Río Salado. Those located in the basin of the Río Salado are closely linked to the development of the railway and tend to present a regular central square pattern which does not take into account the geophysical characteristics. In the former administrative district Del Vecino – nowadays General Guido – the urban structure is adapted to a coastal border; its outline being the work of Carvalho, engineer geographer, and Moy, surveyor, both of whom also participated in the planning of other touristic towns.
