Carmen Barradas (1888-1963) : su lenguaje musical innovador en el Uruguay

Abstract

Resumen: El presente artículo sintetiza la colecta de datos recavada hasta el momento para el proyecto de tesis Carmen Barradas (1888-1963). Su lenguaje musical innovador en Uruguay que se realiza para la Universidad Católica Argentina. Se estudia la etapa vanguardista de la compositora Carmen Barradas que abarca de 1916 a 1927 y su influencia artística en Uruguay. El trabajo de investigación contribuye a la comunidad académica en el hecho de servir de referencia a docentes, intérpretes, estudiantes e investigadores, que necesiten acercarse a las obras no tradicionales de Carmen Barradas.Abstract: The present article synthesizes the collection of information obtained until now for the Project of thesis Carmen Barradas (1888-1963). Its innovative music language in Uruguay that is realized for the Catholic University Argentina. There is studied the avant-garde stage of the composer Carmen Barradas that covers from 1916 to 1927 and its artistic influence in Uruguay. The work of research contributes to the academic community in the fact of serving as reference to teachers, interpreters, students and investigators, who need to approach not traditional works of Carmen Barradas
