Abstract

AbstractWe examine a model of disease control by herd testing and quarantine in domesticated animal herds. Herd status is represented by an integral equation, where the kernel represents the proportion of herds which remain isolated from the general population at a given time after infection is detected. The system steady state, and its local stability are discussed
