    Abstract

    香港嶺南學院於1967年創立，秉承昔日廣州嶺南大學的優良傳 統，對香港的專上教育貢獻良多。1998年是嶺南學院三十周年校慶活動升向高潮的一年，也是廣州嶺南大學創校一百一十周年。在過去的三十年，嶺南學院由只有數間課室的小型私辦學院，發展到擁有新穎及特別設計的校舍及頒授大學的高等學府。 欣逢三十周年校慶，學院在星島日報印發特刊。此特刊記載了時任香港政府官員的賀辭，還提及嶺南學院即將正名為「大學」、博雅教育、校慶活動回顧等。https://commons.ln.edu.hk/lingnan_milestone_newspapers/1010/thumbnail.jp
