In an attempt to find out if the physician perceives the same strengths and weaknesses in today's practice of family medicine as does the consumer, the Lay Advisory Committee of the College's B.C. Chapter initiated a survey of physicians' and consumers' attitudes. This article, the second in a series, presents some of the results of the survey as they relate to the doctor/patient relationship and the handling of social problems
