Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) stands out for a\ud remarkable morphological and biological heterogeneity associated\ud with a high propensity for systemic metastases and\ud poor survival in comparison with the different subtype of\ud breast cancer. The efforts to adopt specific target therapies\ud are complicated by the difficulty to identify representative and\ud reproducible markers. Recently, there is increasing evidence\ud of the role of tumorinfiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) in this\ud subtype of breast cancer in terms ofimproving disease-free\ud (DFS) and overall survival (OS) rates
