Cerebellar infarction associated to HELLP syndrome. Case report

Abstract

Se describe un caso de paciente de 19 años, quien a las 34 semanas presentó hipertensión, edema pre-tibial y proteinuria, por lo cual se le diagnóstico preeclampsia leve. Posterior a la realización de cesárea por alteraciones en la frecuencia cardiaca fetal, la paciente desarrolla síndrome de HELLP con posterior infarto cerebeloso masivo y muerte de la paciente.112-114sippenbauch@gmail.comA 19 year-old patient´s case is described, she presented hypertension, pre-tibial edema and proteinuria at 34 weeks of gestation, and was diagnosed as mild preeclampsia.
