Abstract

Photograph of a lithograph of a drawing of an exterior view of the business of wine merchants Frohling and Kohler, Los Angeles, 1857. The two-story building has a covered balcony running along the front, as well as a small plaza with a round garden in front. The first floor extends back behind the second floor. Several barrels sit on the porch beside one man. Another man at right stands beside a row of casks or barrels. In the foreground, a man can be seen standing near a horse-drawn wagon. The sign atop the building reads "Frohling & Kohler"
