Abstract

Photograph of the main channel of Los Angeles Harbor from Terminal Island, February 10, 1928. The starboard side of a large ship can be seen in the water at center. The ship has three masts and a smoke stack, and reads, "El Segundo" at front. A second ship can be seen docked behind and to the right of the first ship. A sign reads, "N.Y.K. Line Nippon Yusen Kaisha" on the dock, while a building lines the water at right. At least five other boats or ships can be seen on the water throughout. The water continues into the left background. Photonegative sleeve reads, "Ferry dock on mainland showing oil tanks outward bound"
