Abstract

Photograph of Pershing Square, showing bandstand in the background, ca.1895. In the foreground at center, a small path can be seen curving towards the background at center. To the left and right of the path, several large trees and shrubs are visible. Several wooden benches can also be seen to the right. A man is sitting on a bench near some eucalyptus trees which partially obscure the bandstand behind him. A small set of steps lead to the large bandstand, and a railing surrounds the base of the stage. To the left of the bandstand, another man can be seen standing near a group of yucca plants
