The Deep River Boys are shown on their arrival in New York on the Queen Mary from a record-breaking six-months tour of England and the British Isles. During their overseas stay the internationally famous singing group received some of the greatest acclaim ever accorded an American entertainment attraction. The 'Deeps' opened a two-week engagement at the Diana Lounge, Montreal, one of Canada's top night spots, on January 16. Shown here, left to right, are W.T. (Ed) Kirkeby, the group's personal manager, Vernon Gardner, Harry Douglass, Willie Lundy, Cameron Williams and Edward (Cubby) Ware
