Abstract

The business of marketing is increasingly involved with government. For a long time, we have had a specialized interest created by the marketing of goods and services to the government itself. And there have long been various forms of government regulations and restraints on marketing. But it is only recently that marketing practices seem to have become a political issue. I'd suggest that they are perhaps overrated politically, though.
