The Priorities of Managers in Estonian Private Sector Companies

Abstract

The lack of staff arising from the current situation of the labour market is the key to understanding management problems in private sector companies. At the same time it seems to have introduced positive developments in company management: much more attention is devoted to people and their needs than before. Due to increased competition on local market, the quality of products and services has become a primary consideration, which in turn sets higher requirements for employees and management.
