A discussion of the role that the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe can play in helping to integrate the countries of South-Eastern Europe into the wider European economy as well as the global economy. Central to this discussion is how the UNECE can increase its institutional cooperation with the Regional Cooperation Council and the European Union's Neighbourhood Policy.
