Optische Qualitätsprüfung von Batterieseparatoren

Abstract

Since lithium-ion cells are used in electric vehicles special emphasis is placed to their safety requirements. Hence, defect-free battery separators are a prerequisite. In order to ensure this, typical production faults must be reliably detected by means of image processing methods. Therefore, a system for quality assurance is described which enables a detection of these defects. A core element within this system is the distinction between the types of defects with one another and the delimitation of non-quality-related optical effects by means of an expert-based approach for defect feature extraction
