Neighborhood in Willingboro, NJ (1 of 2)

Abstract

Willingboro, New Jersey is a residential community initially purchased and subdivided by Levitt and Sons for plans of property tax profit, following previous incantations of Levittown in New York and Pennsylvannia. By 1956, Levitt had acquired 90% of the Township and developed Willingboro in idealistic planned suburbia. This neighborhood of single-family homes near Rancocas Creek cost up to $20,000 in 1970.https://digitalcommons.ric.edu/smolski_images/2048/thumbnail.jp
