Abstract

How does the performance of a complex social system interact with the performance of their measurement systems? How do measures of success for individual components of\ud the system shape the activity (both real and imagined) of the system? What pitfalls are\ud there to these processes? Can any of them be avoided -or ameliorated? This paper looks at an analysis emerging from a personal experience, contributing to the author's individual and collective identity and her selected analysis
