Abstract

Thiofluorenone S-oxide reacs with C-phenyl-N-methylnitrone in molr ratio 2:1. The first step is the formation of 1:1 cycloadduct. Susequent loss of sulphur dioxide provides a dipolar species which reacts with a second molecule of sulphine to give the end product
