Periodic input response of a second-order digital\ud filter with two’s complement arithmetic

Abstract

The dynamic behaviors of a nonlinear second-order\ud digital filter with two’s complement arithmetic under periodic\ud inputs are explored. The conditions for avoiding overflow are\ud derived. Various dynamic periodic responses are analyzed, accompanied\ud by numerous simulation examples
