Praticas de leitura escolar no Brasil : representações da escola, de professores e do ensino na literatura infanto-juvenil a partir dos anos 80

Abstract

Esta tese objetiva estudar diversas maneiras pelas quais são construídas as representações da escola, de professores e do ensino em dez obras literárias destinadas às crianças e aos adolescentes nas últimas décadas do século xx, procurando compreender as complexas e delicadas relações entre a instituição escolar contemporânea e a produção literária infantojuvenil. A análise do corpus selecionado é precedida do mapeamento e discussão das instituições, políticas e programas de incentivo à leitura nas décadas de 1970-1980-1990. Assim, o trabalho pretende contribuir para um entendimento da função da escola contemporânea como mediadora cada vez mais forte nas relações da literatura infanto-juvenil com seu destinatário e também para a elucidação de aspectos do sistema literário que legitimam esse gênero no BrasilThis work is intended for studying the several manners the representation of the school, the teachers and the teaching in ten literary works destined for children and adolescents in the late 20th century are constructed, as well as analyzing the complex connection between the contemporary educational institution and the children and juvenile literature production. The analysis ofthe corpus is preceded by the discussion ofthe institutions, policies and programmes to motivate the reading practice in the 1970's, 80's and 90's. Thus, besides contributing to a better comprehension of the contemporary school as a mediator in the relations between the children and juvenile literature and its public, the present work aims to elucidate the aspects of the literary system which legitimate such geme in Brazi
