Abstract

O presente texto trata do México em meados das décadas de 1920 e 1930, período de reconstrução do país, ainda marcado por vestígios da Revolução. Época de Renascimento Cultural e conflitos políticos e sociais, que serão abordados por meio de fontes visuais, com total destaque para a fotografia de Tina Modotti, italiana que se afilia ao Partido Comunista Mexicano em 1927; ressaltando também a construção da imagem e seus diversos tipos de análise e interpretação, além da relação entre arte e política, tão bem exemplificada na figura de Modotti.This text deals with Mexico in the middle decades of 1920 and 1930, the period of reconstruction of the country, still marked by the Revolution's trace. Time of Cultural Renaissance, social and political conflicts, who will be boarded by means of visual sources, with total attention for Tina Modotti's photography, who affiliates to the Mexican Communist Party in 1927, also emphasizing the construction of the image and its various types analysis and interpretation, and the relationship between art and politics, as well exemplified in the figure of Modotti
