Abstract

Hepatic fascioliasis is a pathology with an increasing incidence, morbidity and mortality all over the world and most particularly in our country, where endemic spots have been found, particularly in rural areas. Based on a clinical case which is supported by a revision of appropriate literature, the authors have made relevant considerations on bio-ecology, diagnosis, prognostic and treatment of this disease.Hepatic fascioliasis is a pathology with an increasing incidence, morbidity and mortality all over the world and most particularly in our country, where endemic spots have been found, particularly in rural areas.
