The aim of this thesis was processing the research pertaining to ascertaining the views of the employees of the Mendel University on equal opportunities for men and women in the labor market and the Mendel University. The first part contains an overview of the theoretical knowledge of experts dealing with the issue of gender equality in the labor market, significant indicators of employment and unemployment, the difference in income between men and women. The second part is the actual subject of the work. After studying professional literature on this issue, I approached to the research itself to equal opportunities for men and women and processing of the results. The conclusion summarizes the results of the work including the limitations of the study and recommendations for the future
