Supervisor of Bachelor Thesis Ing. Mgr. Jiří Čeněk. The bachelor thesis concerns the integration of the Vietnamese minority in a specific area. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the process of adaptation and acculturation of the Vietnamese minority in Nové Město na Moravě and its strategy. The theoretical part describes the approaches and methods used in the field of intercultural psychology and intercultural communication. Further it explains the underlying terms connected with the main issue and concisely captures differences in cultural values of the examined minority. The practical part of the bachelor thesis introduces general information on the Vietnamese minority in Nové Město na Moravě and interprets results from observation and interviews with selected families
