By Frances Press, Sandie Wong, Annette Woods, Melinda Miller, Corine M. Rivalland and Jennifer Sumsion

The Independent Evaluation of the National Community Hubs Program was commissioned in the context of the establishment of a network of an anticipated 100 Community Hubs under the Program. This was a process evaluation of the first stage of the Hub roll-out (30 Hubs nationally: 15 in New South Wales, 10 in Victoria and 5 in Queensland). Its purpose was to address the question of whether the program is being delivered as intended. This involved determining: • What is being delivered; • How it is being delivered; and • The process of service delivery The outcomes of this evaluation are intended to inform the future directions and roll-out of the program
