Abstract

Cerebral venous sinus (sinovenous) thrombosis (CSVT) is a serious and rare disorder,  increasingly recognized and diagnosed in pediatric patients. The etiology and pathophisiology has not yet been completely clarified, and unlike adults with CSVT,  management in children and neonates remains controversial.
