Abstract

The paper presents data on different approaches to analgesia in relation to the mechanism of pain. Pregabalin (lyrica) has demonstrated a rapid development of an analgesic effect in different types of non-inflammatory pain: neuropathic pain, pain in fibromyalgia syndrome.
