J.C. Penney's on Monument Circle

By W. H. Bass Photo Company

Abstract

In 1973 community leaders promoted a new look for the northwest quadrant and other areas of the Circle. In all, twenty-five organizations were involved in the project. Over the next five years remodeling was done, the street was bricked, and trees, flowers, and lights were added, making the Circle much more attractive.Appears in Destination Indiana
