Lifeboat Being Unloaded from a Train During the 1937 Flood

Abstract

Men hold on to the side of the railroad car as they lower the boat into the flood water. The boat has equipment in it and says U.S. Coast Guard on the side. The house nearby has water up to the first floor windowsills and extends far into the background. The customer card describes this as Pennsylvania Railroad flood area
