John T. McCutcheon

Abstract

McCutcheon graduated form Purdue University in 1889. He moved to Chicago and worked for the Chicago Morning News in 1895 and wrote front page cartoons. He was a political cartoonist for the Chicago Tribune from 1903-1945. McCutcheon received a Pulitzer Prize in 1932 for his cartoon "A Wise Economist Asks a Question"
