Louis Johnson Flys

Abstract

Single engine plane flying low over a field. A farmhouse is visible in the background. The pilot is seated at wing level and not enclosed. The pilot appears to be guiding the plane with a large steering wheel. The landing gear is set in a triangular arrangement and consists of one small wheel in front and two larger wheels in back.Exhibited at the Swope Art Museum as part of "Hometown Terre Haute: Photography from the Martin Studios" (June 11-July 25, 2004
