Abstract

Cogley discusses the many expeditions, campaigns, raids, marches, and battles in which the Seventh Indiana Cavalry Volunteers participated during the Civil War. He includes biographical sketches of Brevet Major General John P.C. Shanks, and Brevet Brigandier General Thoms M. Browne as well as other officers of the regiment.
