Abstract

As Young looks on, Grissom receives a congratulatory ship to shore call from President Lyndon B. Johnson while onboard the USS Intrepid following the successful "Gemini 3" flight. Young got in some trouble following the mission for smuggling a corned beef sandwich onto the flight.
