Hinkle Fieldhouse

Abstract

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this iconic building remains the nation’s oldest college basketball arena. The fieldhouse, which had remained unchanged for more than 60 years, was renovated in 1989. The work was geared toward upgrading the facility while retaining the history and nostalgia of the home of “Hoosier Hysteria.”Use of this image is restricted to projects related to Destination Indiana.
