Doughty's Mill on the South Fork of the Muscatatuck River, Johnson Township, Scott County, Indiana

Abstract

Needing a closer place to take their corn and wheat, settlers in the area helped build Doughty’s Mill in 1849 on the south fork of the Muscatatuk River. The mill ceased operation in 1904 and was destroyed by high winds in 1906.Destination Indiana Scott County Journe
