Abstract

The tablet on the north side has an inscription dedicated to Indiana Volunteers during the War with Mexico, the Battle of Tippecanoe, the Indian and British War, and the War of the Revolution. The tablet records the number of volunteers from Indiana who served and died during these wars. [1902
