This project looks at important perspectives within culture which could facilitate the interaction between cultural consumers and providers. The cultural providers are the creative artists, the Arts Council and all the various cultural institutions, both regional and national. Art and culture can be used to improve the general quality of society. We show that culture can be an alternative benefactor to the established health care system, by preventing and treating mental and social illnesses that otherwise would be a considerable economical burden on the danish state. We further confirm that Audience Development can create more broadly representative audiences and thereby facilitate the access of art and culture to the general population. We are positive that art and culture can be effective tools for informing people about critical perspectives, both in institutions and society in general
