Abstract

This digital image was produced in the Summer of 2011 from the original map held by the Maryland Geological Survey (MGS). We are indebted to the MGS staff for helping us make this map available.This series of orthophoto quadrangles covers the Chesapeake Bay area of Maryland, including the tidal reaches of the major bay tributaries. The source documents were produced by the U.S. Geological Survey from 1988-1989 National Aerial Photography Program (NAPP) and comply with National Map Accuracy Standards at 1:24,000. The Maryland Geological Survey contracted with the USGS to create this series
