Effects of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi and Phosphate-Solubilizing Bacteria Infection on the Growth of Micropropagated Wax Apple Plantlet

Abstract

Effects of vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) inoculation, and NAA treatment on growth of micropropagated wax apple (Syzygium samarangense Merr. et Perry) plantlet was determined. The result showed that wax apple plantets inoculated with AM and PSB alone or both produced more root, AMF and PSB can be used as natural rooting agent. AMF combined inoculation of PSB exhibit better result that only AM or PSB inoculation on plant fresh mass, dry weigh accumulation and nutrient uptake ability. The combined treatment had more leaf number, also had higher plant length than control. This study indicated that wax apple plantlet inoculated AMF conbined inoculation PSB can increase plant growth and nutrient uptake ability.本研究以蓮霧莖頂組織培養之幼苗為材料,於冬季進行菌根菌、溶磷菌、複合接種以及萘乙酸鈉處理,探討其對蓮霧幼苗生長之影響。研究結果顯示,接種菌根菌、溶磷菌或複合接種可促進廉物幼苗根細型態發生改變,增生更多主根及側根之數量及比率,雖其效果與萘乙酸鈉稍有差異,但並不顯著,而且可取代萘乙酸鈉之發根作用,惟菌根菌接種後之生長初期,因菌落尚未完全發育而使植株之生長較為遲緩,但至處理後第12週,則生長較為快速。接種溶磷菌在接種後第8週至12週菌落數有減少之趨勢。顯示蓮霧組培幼苗接種溶磷微生物有益於植株生長,複合接種具有累加效應,因此在蓮霧種苗生產上,實施複合接種可促進植株生長,並可增加植株吸收養分之能
