The influence of training (H- and V-type) on growth and yield of eggplant, showed that the increment of cross section area in main stem and shoot on V-type training plants are better than that of H-type training. The leaf area index of V-type training treatment, at mid growth stage was 3.81, which is significantly higher than that of H-type training plant at 2.69. At late growth stage, the leaf area index of V-type training treatment still showed better in growth. The yield of V-type training treatment increased by 7.5 ton/ha, or 8.1%, and single fruit weight was significant better than of H-type training treatment.本研究目的在探討傳統水平整枝與V型整枝方式對茄子生育與產量之影響。結果顯示，V型整枝處理植株對茄子主幹與主枝的橫截面積增加量，較水平整枝處理佳。V型整枝處理植株在生育中期葉面積指數為3.81，較水平整枝處理者之2.69顯著提高；至生育末期仍以V型整枝處理有較佳表現。產量與品質方面，顯示V型整枝處理的產量可提高7.5 ton/ha，達8.1%，且茄果的單果重較重
