玫瑰花在11月份扦插支單節扦插苗經一個半月成苗後，，換盆至四種不同花盆，經4個月育苗，，以盆底中央一圓形開孔之花盆(型式Ι)育苗之苗株有較多的葉片數，但對苗株之株高、地上部乾重及地上部鮮重比，與其它3種花盆所育之玫瑰花苗皆無顯著差異。。然而在4月份先插苗經1個月成苗後，換盆至各種花盆8個月育苗，卻以第∣種形式的花盆與盆底邊緣四個圓形開孔之花盆(型式ΙΙ)所育出的苗有較高的株高:尤其以〝Samantha〞以第Ι種花盆育苗者其地上部乾重值最大，，反之以盆底邊緣兩弧形開孔之花盆(型式ΙΙΙ)育苗者乾重最輕，但〝Princess Caroline〞在地上部乾重的影響卻不顯著。在根生長方面，不論育苗期之苗齡為何，花盆型式皆不會影響之苗株根長最長，根在盆底盤根的情形最嚴重，而以第ΙΙΙ種花盆育苗者根最短，盆底苗者根最短，盆底並無盤根，有空氣剪根的效果。然而不管在何種花盆育苗，苗株定植後對玫瑰花切花之產量與品質皆無顯著差異。Single-node rose cuttings propagated in November were transplanted into four types pot, for 4 months. Plantlets cultured in pot which bottom center with a hole(typeⅠ) has more leaves than the others. But pot type did not influence plant height, shoot dry weight, and ratio of shoot dry weight/fresh weight. However, cuttings were propagated in April and cultured in different pot types, for 8 months, plantlets cultured in pots of typeⅡ, which bottom edge with fore holes, were higher than others. Shoot dry weight of 'Samantha' cultured in typeⅠwas the heaviest, and in pot typeⅢ, which bottom edge with two arc holes, was the lightest, but the different was not occurred on 'Princess Caroline'. Moreover, pot type did not influence number of plant leaves and ratio of shoot dry weight/fresh weight.\ud No matter with cultured period, root tips, root dry weight, and ratio of root dry weight to fresh weight were no significantly different among plantlets cultured different pots. Plantlets cultured in pot of typeⅠhad the longest root and the heaviest dry weight of root longer than 4.5 cm. Plantlets cultured in pot of typeⅢ had the shortest root and lightest dry weight of roots longer than 4.5 cm. Furthermore, roots of the former plantlets circled at the pot bottom, and the roots of later did not circle, which was the result of air pruning.\ud After transplanting for cut flower production, there no different on the quantity and quality of rose cut flowers produced from different plantlets cultured in various pots
