Management information requirement from the client caseload information system


The management information requirement sets out the data that should be reported to the Department using data from the local Client Caseload Management Information system (CCIS). As part of their role in working with young people, local authorities record information about the current activity of young people and their characteristics and aspirations on their own caseload management system (CCIS). Some of this information is returned to the Department on a monthly basis into a national system (NCCIS) which can be used by local authorities to compare and benchmark performance against other areas and to identify where new provision may need to be commissioned, and by the Department for analysis and monitoring
