Abstract

Problems of the numerical solution of the supraglottal space are dealt with. At first there is introduced a numerical solution of the problem of the semi-closed cylindrical acoustic space oscillation in the interaction with an elastic thin plate. The results are compared with the FEM solution. The next part deals with methods of excitation both healthy and defective supraglottal spaces for vowels a, i, and with recognition of responses and frequency response functions by means of numerical modelling. Alternative calculations of the vocal tracts and the supraglottal space are presented in the next part.
