Study and development of gas dynamic protection of metal surface in ladle during furnaceless treatment

Abstract

The purpose is to develop and to introduce the method of the gas dynamic protection of the metal surface in a ladle during the furnaceless treatment. An analytical expression for the open surface extent during blowing, an equation of the mass transfer through this surface are obtained. A model of the gas dynamic and gas conical protection during blowing in a ladle is developed.
