CRYOGENIC MAGNETIC SYSTEMS OF PERSPECTIVE ENERGY CONVERTERS

Abstract

The aim is to develop the methods for solution of the complex problem on the analysis of the magnetic fields (MF), stressed-strained state (SSS) and thermomechanical effects in the cryogenic magnetic systems (CMS), to use the developed approachs at creation of CMS for the electromechanical and MHD-converters with improved energetical and mass-overall dimensions characteristics. The universal methods for analysis of MF have been proposed; the new analytical correlations for analysis of SSS have been proposed; the criteria for adiabatic stability of CMS have been determined; the design evaluations of the power plants with CMS have been determined; the experimental data obtained on the full-scale models of CMS have been given.
