Processes of formation and methods of lowering physical and chemical inhomogenety of castings out of aluminium silicic alloys

Abstract

In this work gas-shrinkage phenomena in hardening alloys, short-waste processes of costing manufacturing are investigated. The purpose of this work is to develop theoretical and technological basis of gas-shinkage processes in castings control by means of resering, hardening and gassing optimization, to develop efficient casting technology with high characteristics of adaptabe product yield and size preciseness. There have been worked out design methods and methods of deturmining parameters of filtration risening process as well as the directivity of cast hardening, revealed the mechanisms of irregular silicon distribution, substantiated the positive role of gases in forming shriukage defects, developed methods of estimation of alloy disposition to gas-shrinkage by hardening under conditions of rerefacton and atmospheric pressure. The factors of increase of leak-proofness,size preciseness and chemical homogencity have been determined. The short-waste technologies of manufacturing of leak-proof castings with high characteristics of adaptive product yield and size preciseness have been developed: casting with dispersed gating system (PASLIT-process) and casting of gas-saturated alloys. The technology of manufacturing of casting with dispersed gating system and casting of gas-sutarated alloys have been introduced into production.
