Structure distinctions of steels of austenitic and ferrite-perlite classes

Abstract

There the study objects are 08G2S steel of ferrite-perlite class and KH18N10T steel of austenitic class. The paper purposes are to study the changes of physical-mechanical macro- and microcharacteristics of 08G2S and KH18N10T steels to be subjected to the electrostimulated drawing, to explore the distinctions and the mechanisms of substructure evolution of these steels under the electrostimulated action conditions, to analyse the possible causes of plasticity rise of steel wire after the electrostimulated drawing. The change of stress-strain property number of steels of austenitic and ferrite-perlite classes under the electrostimulated drawing conditions has been studied. The structure change, the substructure change and the change of microdifraction level of these steels after the electrostimulated drawing have been explored by the methods of contemporary physical metallurgy. The determined mechanisms of electrostimulated drawing of 08G2S and KH18N10T steels open the possibilities for the refining of physical theory of plastic deformation under the external current actions, for the development of concrete process recommendations of metal processing under the current pulse action conditions.
