Abstract

The investigation is concerned with the theoretical notions about the role of biological factors in anthropogenesis. The object of investigation is gaining more profound knowledge about the history of the problem of biological factors in anthropogenesis. The researchers have studied 242 publications covering the state of the art, completed a historical-and-scientific breakdown of the periods of development of the problem, outlined the principal scientific trends and methodological approaches, revealed the significance imparted to the role of biologial factors in the speciation and race formation in Hominidae by scientists devoted to the standpoint of darwinism, labour theory of anthropogenesis and synthetic theory of evolution. Studied the problems of interaction between biological and social factors in the process of anthropogenesis and made up a summary of concepts, ideas and viewpoints relating to the role of biological factors in anthropogenesis. The results of investigation may be used in the lecture courses on the theory of anthropogenesis and history of biology at the institutions of higher education. The pioneer historical and scientific analysis of the role of biological factors in anthropogenesis will enable the researchers to adequately reflect the complex dynamics of the notions of the relationship between the biological and social factors of the volution of the human beingAvailable from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
