THE INVESTIGATION OF THE NEUROTROPIC ACTIVITY OF THE STRUCTURAL ANALOG ACTG(5 - 7) - TRIPEPTIDE ERP

Abstract

The work is aimed at studying the influence of the new structural analog ACTG(5 - 7) - tripeptide ERP on the albino rats behavior; at examining the possible mechanisms of action of this peptide and the dependence of its activity on structure. The effect of the ERP on the orientation-research behavior and teaching the animals in the different tests was being studied. It has been shown, that the ERP decelerates teaching, reduces the orientation-research reaction of the animals and blocks the behavior effects of the ACTG fragments. On the base of the obtained data, the conclusion has been made, that the ERP is the functional antagonist of the behavior effects of the ACTG native fragnments. It has been detected, that the force and direction of the ERP effects depend on the initial state of the catecholaminergic system. The role of the different structural elements of the ERP molecule in the appearance of the physiological activity of the peptide has been investigatedAvailable from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
